The Men’s Club was ratified in 2000, and Bill Barry had the job to Captain the Club in its inaugural year.
The Club has grown each and every year and the passion that exudes from the members when wearing the Club jumper in competition is fantastic.
The Club has hosted a number of events for the GUI and continues to make the course available to the Union to show the standard that the course has progressed to.
The Leinster Youths Amateur Open Championship in was held at Hollystown in 1997 won by Ricky Elliot and in 2001 won by Gareth Maybin.
The club also hosted the Leinster Final of the Pierce Purcell Shield 2002.
The Club has hosted a number of Golfing Union of Ireland Events including the Metropolitan Qualifier of the Pierce Purcell Shield 2004, the Metropolitan Qualifier of the Jimmy Bruen Shield 2003.
