With the Club ratified in 2000 our first Lady Captain was Nancy Keating. Nancy was a great choice and made great strides with all the other members in establishing Hollystown Golf Club as a new, exciting and vibrant Club.
It wasn’t long before Hollystown managed to record a major win in an ILGU event with Mai McCann winning the Ria Kenny Memorial Shield in 2002.
In 2009 the Club won the ILGU, All Ireland Best Nett Team Trophy, the team was Ann McCartney, Audrey Burke & Catherine Hetherington.
The club also hosted the Ulster Bank All-Ireland Medal Winners Finals won by Miriam Hynes of Portuma GC. Hollystown member Siobhan McDonnell finished 3rd.
In 2010 the Mixed Team went to the Finals of the O’Grady Cup.
