Great Conditioning Year-Round
With Joe Bedford's help and with the great work of the greenkeeping staff, the course is almost always in excellent condition-so you get the same conditioning you'll find on any Dublin course but for much better value.
A Classic Irish Parkland Layout
We're in the thriving suburbs north of Dublin (yes - we're proud to be ‘Dubs') but you would not know it when you start to enjoy any of our three nine hole loops. The beautiful setting includes mature trees, attractive water hazards (unless you're in one), and rye grass fairways. When you play the golf course, you feel that you're right in the middle of the Irish countryside.

A Good Mix of Birdie Holes & Holes Where Par is a Good Result
The first on the red course is a difficult par-4. Miss the fairway and a bogey is a good score. The first on the yellow offers a great birdie opportunity. And the first on the blue course has one of the more demanding tee shots on the course. Thus the character of the course reveals itself-a great mixture of testing holes with good scoring opportunities The best par-5 on the course is the third on the Blue course. It's a muscular 564 yards from the championship tees and is a genuine three-shot hole: a creek protects the front of the green and there's OOB at the back.
The best par-3 might be the 7th on the Red course - it's 234 yards with a raised green surrounded by bunkers. Eddie Hackett told me it was one of the best holes he ever designed.
The hardest hole on the course is the first on the red course. It's a difficult par-4 with water guarding the front of the green. Most golfers will need to lay up and try to get a par with a good pitch and solid putt.
The Positive Effects of the Recent Upgrade Have Improved the Golf Significantly
Since 2005, the course and the facilities received a €1.7 million upgrade. All the work is complete and the upgrade made everything more enjoyable for members, guests, and visitors.
