Joe Bedford trained at the Royal Dublin Golf Club; he then became the head greenkeeper at St. Anne's Golf Club. In 1991, he joined Hollystown and oversaw the final completion of the original development.
After seven years, Joe designed the additional nine holes at Hollystown; these holes, as you will see, perfectly complement, and even augment, the original nine holes.

Derek Dowdall
Derek worked on the construction of the golf course and has remained with Hollystown ever since, he has progressed upwards over the years and is now Assistant Greenkeeper.
John Mooney & John Bruton
The two Johns have been with the Club since 1996 & 2003 respectively and are valued members of the Team.
Patricia Cooney is the rock that Hollystown is built on!! Patricia again is with the Club since 1992 and Patricia joined Hollystown as financial controller and front of house manager.
Patricia's role has expanded in recent years to cover golf management and club administration. Her experience is invaluable to all that Hollystown is!
Sinead O'Donnell & Jennifer Jordan
Sinead joined Hollystown also in 1992 and has remained with us ever since. Her trade mark welcome “How are ya?” is known by Society Secretaries and Golfers across Dublin, and she remains one of the most popular members of Staff at the Club.
Jennifer joined us in 2007 and took over the responsibilities Jennifer specialises in membership services, reservations, and telephone and internet booking. Entertainment Specialists
George Duffy - Bar and Catering Manager
George worked for many years in the prestigious and famous Shelbourne Hotel on Stephens Green. Among his achievements George is a previous Smirnoff All-Ireland Long Drink Champion and also Havana Club All-Ireland Long Drink Champion.
George represented Ireland in the Havana Club World Grand Prix Cocktail Championships in Cuba in 1998 and finished 4th in the world Having been a member of the Club for years in 2005 George became bar and catering manager in Hollystown and certainly adds a touch of Class to proceedings!
The team is made up of Barbara, on board since Dalia, Mags & Ieva and hopefully you will always receive a warm welcome from the Team in the Bar after your round.
